Film-maker, Producer and Editor
Having made his first film Night Commuters in Northern Uganda, about the children affected by war, Marc went on to work with acclaimed film-maker Nick Broomfield on a number of his films, including Producing and Editing Whitney: Can I Be Me in 2017, premiering at Tribeca Film Festival, as well as Tales of the Grim Sleeper, shortlisted for the 2015 Academy Awards.
Having returned to Africa in 2010, Marc directed and produced Albino United – a documentary following an albino football team in Tanzania, a country where albinos are murdered for their body parts, which are believed to bring wealth and good luck.
In April 2014, Marc became the Features Producer for Vivid Features in Kenya, exclusively producing 3 weekly programs for CNN; African Voices, a 30 minute character led documentary, African Start Up, focusing on entrepreneurs around the continent, and Market Place Africa, a business program.
Working again with Nick Broomfield, Marc produced and edited 2019’s Marianne and Leonard Words of Love, premiering at Sundance.
